My channel is about the things that I like and love. It's basically a diary of projects and reviews that i have completed around the house. I do all Diy home improvements myself both inside and out and try to show detailed and clear videos of how i do things.
I also do reviews on the things that I like or that have impressed me and think that i should share with others.
I have over 20 years experience with floor installation specialized in LVT, vinyl, carpet etc, worked on building sites and got to work with professionals from other trades and gained some of there knowledge.
I enjoy what i do because of the satisfaction of the end result and knowing that i created that myself.

Bcp Raised Garden Bed 2 ft High
I bought this Bcp metal raised garden bed from Amazon for $109 plus tax. It is a modular bed so I could have 8x2x2 or 5x5x2 Or the same sizes but by 1 foot high. Anyway, I also have Ollie and Vego beds and just compare all of these.

Forgotten Garden Maintenance Cleaning The Rain Barrel
Просмотров 477 месяцев назад
This is a forgotten task in the garden and should be performed at least once a year. The build up of algae and sediment if unattended with block the spigot/faucet/tap. In my video I am flushing it out and then adding nutrients to the clean water that I refill it with.

Sudan Grass green manure for Killing Nematodes
Просмотров 47Год назад
I planted this grass from seed only 6 weeks ago. I watered it everyday for a week and that is all I have done to it. It is 6 feet high in parts, looks good but I need it for green manure and to kill nematodes. By tilling the grass into the soil it will release a gas that should kill off nematodes as well as give the soil nutrients.

How to Fertilize a Pygmy Date Palm with Sunniland

Anther Season means clean up and maintenance in the garden. I could never really find how to apply fertilizer to my palm tree and so I posted a question on Lowe's and Sunniland replied and this is what I am doing in the video. Sunniland Palm tree fertilizer has a NPK of 6-1-8

Whirlpool Fridge Strobe Light Easy Fix ( Resolved )
Просмотров 5 тыс.Год назад
Well, it was a good fridge until this happened and I really don't want to buy a replacement part from Whirlpool for $278 plus tax and shipping only for it to happen again 2 or 3 years later. From what I have read this is a fault not only in Whirlpool but also Maytag. My fix cost me $7 and is still working. The next step was a new circuit board for around $40 - 60. If I have to do this every 2 m...
Neat - looks a lot simpler than I expected!
Patience grasshopper that is the key
7 years later and still a great video
Thank you
Quick shoutout to you my man, very helpful. We have the same car and I was really wanting to start a project today and now I can lol
I put mine in basment in winter Beautiful every year
I guess i'm lucky I don't have to do that here in Florida
What’s the name of the tool used to loosen and tighten the cell?
What’s the name of the tool used to loosen and tighten the cell?
It's an oil filter wrench. Cost less than $10. you could probably pick one up even cheaper at Harbor freight
How many bags of self leveler did you end up using for this area?
Wow, don't remember, think it was around 30 to 35 bags. Coverage is around 25sf a bag.
@@englandandy5181 okay, thank you.. did you say 1/4” thick is what you ended up with over the tiles? Around 800 sq ft correct? I Appreciate your fast reply to my first question. You’re flooring turned out about as good as it gets. Probably the the most simplest to the point and professionally done self leveling instructions I’ve found on RUclips! I’ve watched many many different videos.thanks again
@@rjquik7746 Thank you. If your floor is pretty level, then yes, 1/4 inch is okay but if it's not, just pour it on thick and roll it out. Make sure your tiles are sound and no hollow spots. The bag tells you how max thick you can pour.
You’re a real diamond geezer.
Stuff has gone up to $13 now 🤣
Holy crap, I was hoping it would be easier.💀Maybe it doesn't look so bad after all.
In my opinion it was worth the effort?.
Chess from Wesley Chapel Florida that was very good thank you
Thanks Bruv
How about how it charges ? USB ?
Jeezus…. So easy this way. Thank you!!!
Hi. How are you spelling ethol ? Great video, lovely job. South Wales 🇬🇧
I have a can of the Eagle Natural Penetrating Water Based Sealant and the directions say when puting on a second coat that it must be applied "wet on wet." Sounds like to me it means to put on the second coat while the first is still wet. That doesn't make sense to me.
Sorry can't help you on that one. When I done mine I waited around 3 hours and reapplied and it was fine.
@@EnglandAndy ....Thanks. Most of the videos I have watched are saying to apply the second coat a few hours later. I thought the "wet on wet" directions to applying a second coat was a bit odd. I've sealed concrete before with different products and never saw the "wet on wet" verbiage before.
I planted one and have two more to plant. I’m glad I watched your video after the first one. I didn’t know to add water in the hole while planting and backfilling! I’ll do it on my next 2!
Glue name sir?
Tangle trap sticky glue
@@EnglandAndy thank you very much... ❤️❤️❤️
Love the refill.
I've just joined woodchip drop off... excited but curious at the same time. I'm praying the quality will be good
My soil is sand and has no nutrients so to me chip drop adds back some of that. If you agree to it then what you are getting is a truck load of wood chips . You can specify just chips or you can get bigger pieces. I always choose chips. I lay this down super thick and just let it break down back in to the soil.
Thx so much. My palms were in the ground not even two weeks and we had a freeze in north FL. All fronds are brown but I see green on the trunks. Taking your guidance…guess I’ll have a couple ‘beakers’ in my yard for a while. What should I treat with once I trim?
I use a sunniland palm fertilizer which I buy from Lowe's. Don't know how big your tree is so I can't tell you how much to use but I have another video on fertilizing the palm tree. Do not put the fertilizer against the trunk and make sure you water it in deep
I tried this. Just learned I need more patience. Thx! Circular saw is good but loud and makes a big mess.
Fanks mate
A propa lad wiv some propa sea holly! Cheers guv
What mil did you use?
Tbh I can’t remember.
Is This Considered Stealing Mbps?
Where exactly are you spraying WD40? I have mine out, and it is dry as a bone. I am having difficulty figuring out how WD40 is going to do anything.
The wd40 silicone spray will seal the board from moisture.
This is what I did and it worked for me I a. Not telling you to do the same or that it will work for you
Where are you from? And how much frost do you experience at most?
Central Florida and maybe a couple of weeks a year of frost,
@@EnglandAndy I'm wondering exactly how many degrees do you get? -2 happens?
What's the circuit board on Amazon? (Just in case this doesn't work?
Can’t remember but if you google the part number lots of lights and circuit boards come up and then it’s up to you. You know what Amazon is like for reviews 😂
You need an oscillating tool ! Make your life easier
Have one, porter cable just don't use it often maybe if it was a battery one I'd use it more.
Thank you for this.
Thank you so much! I'm a beginner gardener and have a client that has asked for one of these to be planted in their backyard. Showing the whole process was super helpful for me. Also knowing the sandy soil does not need anything added was great info! Not sure if you still check comments, but its January in Florida, is this an ok time to plant one?
No, I would wait till it's hot or at least till all the cold nights have passed.
South Florida plant all year safely. North Florida March-June are the best months.
Thx buddy I fixed mine also all I did was spray something like wd40 and blew it off with an air compressor and tried it and wala worked first shot. Been like this for a year fixed in 7 mins literally
My main man Andy always coming frew with tha latest and greatest…. Cheers guv
Merry Christmas Bruv
Still works and I run it through a couple of times when I use it
How did stand up to extended use?
Cheers bruv! Where HAVE you been? You’ve been as elusive as a vegan in a bacon shop, do you know what I mean son
I've had so much to do with work and home I really just haven't had time. Miss real bacon.🤣
I bought a baby date palm.its about 7cm high . Its a single trunk. Do i need to plant 3 singles together to make it a triple trunk?
7cm? that's still a seedling, so yes I would. Pygmy's are pretty shallow rooted so it would give plenty of time for each plants roots to entwine with each other or you can take a chance with the plant you have and see if it grows of shoots.
I've done this years ago, but i like your method. Just built a short wall and had a tiny ( like 3x3) space i knew I'd need to cut. Your video gave me the confidence to do it. Really like your videos.
Thank you, I can't believe it was 5 years ago
@@EnglandAndy I started my yard journey when we moved here 6 years ago. My husband had leukemia, and sadly only got to live here for 7 months. Mobile home, less maintenance, no plans for a lawn. The installers left piles of excavated dirt. I brought 150 plants with me from old place on 1 acre. I'm still digging the ditch to finish the EZ drain fix, and swale. I'm currently in the middle of installing a paver pad at the bottom of back steps. I loved your video of that. I was reviewing the string level portion and love how precise you are. Removing the gravel there with a pick and shovel by 5 gal. bucket ¾ full isn't fun. I'm 67. But determined. Thanks again for what you post.
@@EnglandAndy I DID it! It worked perfectly. Thanks again.
Beautiful !
Thank you England Andy..i love it when you said it is a mosquito repellant..i love that flower low maintenance
I don't do nothing to mine except springtime when I hack it back.
I wonder if the solaxx salt cell would work with this system since the connections are the same? I am fed up with all of the issues with solaxx the power supply failed so I want to replace the whole thing but the cell I have is relatively new..
I thought the same, even the flow switch looks the same.
Looks good. Only tip is to pay attention to your grain on your top caps. The way you put the board, it will cup up and cause water to go to the middle. Put the bark-side down and it will round over and cause the water to flow off.
Really, I want to see since the beginning 😅
I've seen some written reviews on HD's website complaining about not being able to hold 3 bags and the framing being weak enough to collapse. Thoughts?
I wouldn’t do 3 bags the hole mixer moves because of the weight. 2 x 80 lbs is enough
@@EnglandAndy think I could push to 3x60?
@@kajekage9410 probably not, when mixing as it turns it will start to fall out the drum.
Will you please give me the dimensions of the posts that you used and what kind of slats were used including the measurements. I'm assuming you use quikrete to get those things to stay. Thank you very much
4x4 posts and fence panel singles and just cut down to whatever size you need

I'm in Florida trying to dig through some what rock ground so I dig a little bit at a time daily for an identical pygmy so thanks for the video it's helpful.. ps what br 3:33 eed of dog is that he's or she's cute
Thank you and he’s a cockapoo
Really nice job with a great explanation! Having a flat underlayment to set your finish flooring is essential.
Thanks and also when you buy your product it's important to know what the warranties are and how they want you to install their products because any deviation and they will void it in a heartbeat.
Thank you!! Will do this today. 7b, west TN. Will bring the plant into my sunroom whenever winter arrives. Would love to see the lantana you rooted - how it looks now.
It grew big but and beautiful however you need to spray for thrips
Thanks, yours is the most complete video I have come across so far.
